We often observe that on our most important days, our skin doesn’t cooperate! Several times, I have had my acne flare up right before a date or before meeting a friend. Then I uncovered a few magical tips, like using skin serum for oily skin, the best face wash for pimples, cleansing, exfoliating, etc., that help with this. Here are 6 tips to take your skin from a land of acne to as clear as the sky!

But before that, let us find out what causes acne

#1 – Excess oil production:

Our bodies have sebaceous glands, which create an oily material known as sebum to keep the skin moisturized. Anything in excess is harmful, and excess sebum promotes acne due to closed pores.

#2 – Bacteria:

Propionibacterium acnes (P. acnes) is normally found on the skin, however it can penetrate blocked pores. The increased bacterial population can induce inflammation and contribute to the formation of acne lesions.

#3 – Diet:

A highly debated topic, food and acne have a big relationship that is still being uncovered by experts. But according to our mothers, the acne on our faces is due to last night’s pizza!

#4 – Stress:

Have you observed how suddenly during an exam or a date, you get acne? Probably because of hormonal changes caused by stress. So next time you are stressed about a date or an exam, remember that your skin needs care too apart from the fact that stress is bad for your mental health as well.

#5 – Cosmetics:

Sometimes we expect great results out of products that we have bought by shelling out money that doesn’t come easy but they end up not working. That my friend is heartbreaking!

Anyway, the point is, that certain products may not suit your skin and irritate it, and cause acne by clogging pores.

Now that we know why acne is caused, do we move to the actual part you are here for? The tips?

Let us dive into it
